1. Information the game stores
Pirate Adventure stores unlocked destinations, mission completion and claims, attempts, best results, Traveler XP, relics, paw doubloons, onboarding progress, campaign-guide progress, first-play demo completion, and sound or haptic preferences. This information is used only to operate the game, restore progress, and display the player’s voyage.
The game does not require a BuddyPort account and does not ask for a player’s name, email address, contacts, photos, or precise location.
2. Storage by platform
The voyage is saved in operating-system-protected app storage on the player’s device.
iPhone and iPad: When the player is signed in to iCloud and the service is available, campaign progress is also stored in Pirate Adventure’s private iCloud key-value store and can sync across Apple devices using the same Apple Account. Local saving remains available when iCloud is unavailable.
Android: Progress is stored only on the current device. Pirate Adventure does not upload Android gameplay data to BuddyPort servers, and cloud backup and cross-device transfer are disabled.
3. No advertising, analytics, or tracking
Pirate Adventure does not contain advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or tracking identifiers. Gameplay data is not sold, provided to advertising companies, or used to build an advertising profile.
4. Platform services
On iPhone and iPad, Apple processes private iCloud-synced data under Apple’s privacy terms. The Android edition does not use iCloud and does not sync gameplay through Google cloud services. Pirate Adventure does not operate an external account server and does not share a player’s voyage with other players.
5. Retention and deletion
Local voyage data remains until the player uses Reset Adventure, clears the app’s data, or removes the app. Reset Adventure clears campaign records, pending claims, XP, rewards, onboarding, campaign-guide progress, and first-play gameplay-demo completion, then returns the game to its opening story. On iPhone and iPad, the reset syncs to the player’s other Apple devices when iCloud is available. On Android, the reset affects only the current device. Sound and haptic choices remain as device preferences.
6. App removal and platform controls
iPhone and iPad: Removing the app deletes its local data, but an iCloud-synced save may remain in the player’s private iCloud account. Players can reset the adventure before removing the app or manage Pirate Adventure’s iCloud access and stored app data through their Apple Account and iCloud settings.
Android: Uninstalling Pirate Adventure or clearing its app data removes local progress. Because cloud backup and device transfer are disabled, that progress cannot be restored by the app.
7. Children’s privacy
Pirate Adventure is designed to minimize data collection and does not request personal information to play.
8. Developer, changes, and contact
